Core FeaturesHigh Resolution A3 Scanning The scanner takes advantage of CCD technology, utilising a light source, mirror, lens and image sensor to deliver high resolution scans up to 1200 x 1200dpi. The scanner is able to scan images up to A3 (12.3in. x 18.5in.) in a multitude of formats including TIFF, JPEG and PDF.Unmatched Colour AccuracyThe CCD technology allows the scanner to handle 36-bit colour meaning it’s capable of capturing 68 billion colours, after gamma, white and black point correction and other image operations are performed on the 36-bit data, the best 24-bits are outputted. This ensures scans benefit from low noise and rapid transfer whilst ensuring quality is not lost. Whilst extremely colour accurate out of the box, the scanner can be ICC profiled in either Adobe RGB or sRGB colour spaces and produces print ready scans without the need for image manipulation or post processing.Scans in as Little as 3 SecondsAs the scanner utilises 2 LED bars there is no warm up time and a scan at the largest 12.3″x18.5″ format requires less than 3 seconds in normal mode at 300dpi and only 12 seconds in 3D mode at 600dpi.2D & 3D ScanningThe revolutionary 3D scanning mode opens many new opportunities in Fine Art Printing, allowing users to capture paper surface textures, art materials such as acrylic and oil and any other textured pieces to give the perception of depth.The WideTEK 25 has two LED lamps, twice as many as the competition.
